I just had another look at some photos I took this summer in the seaside town of Felixstowe. We were riding up and down the promenade on a funny old tourist train. While the other passengers were looking out to sea, I had my camera fixed in the opposite direction snapping the people that we passed. The results seemed a bit surreal, reminding me of the dreamy sequences I love from David Lynch films like Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart. I’ve tried to accentuate that feeling by adding a soft vignette. I quite like them as a series of pictures. Hope you do too.
